Fuyao Glass Founder Passes the Baton to Son

Cao Dewang, the 79-year-old founder of Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co. Ltd., has stepped down as chairman after nearly four decades at the helm, handing over leadership of the world’s largest automotive glass manufacturer to his son.
In an announcement Thursday, the Shanghai- and Hong Kong-listed company said Cao, also known as Cho Tak Wong, will remain a director and serve as honorary chairman for life. His son, Cao Hui, will take over as chairman, legal representative, and head of the board’s strategy and development committee.
