China’s commerce minister has held talks with his Dutch and EU counterparts, seeking to de-escalate a dispute over semiconductor firm Nexperia Holding NV following a series of retaliatory measures that have rattled global supply chains.
On Tuesday, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao spoke with Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs Vincent Karremans and European Commissioner for Trade Maroš Šefčovič, according to statements from China’s Ministry of Commerce.
