Siemens AG has introduced more than two dozen locally developed industrial hardware and software products tailored for the Chinese market as the German engineering giant ramps up its push to integrate artificial intelligence into manufacturing.
President and CEO Roland Busch unveiled the new offerings at the company’s Real Meets Digital conference in Beijing on Monday, predicting that AI would trigger a transformation in industrial systems akin to the advent of electricity. The 26 localized product lineup includes the Sentron 3VD direct-current circuit breaker designed for intelligent computing centers, the Sinamics S200 compact servo system, and the SiePA Pro predictive maintenance software.
