Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. is consolidating its artificial intelligence (AI) productivity apps into a single unified enterprise platform, following a leadership shake-up at its workplace communication unit DingTalk.

The consolidation underscores Alibaba’s urgent push to streamline its product strategy and reclaim market share in China’s fiercely competitive AI office software sector, where DingTalk has recently fallen behind rapidly growing rivals owned by Tencent Holdings Ltd. and ByteDance Ltd.
