China Vanke Co. Ltd. has appointed a former Shenzhen financial regulator as president, filling a role left vacant for more than a year as the state-backed developer struggles to contain a deepening liquidity crisis.
The Shenzhen-based company said Thursday that its board approved the appointment of Huang Yu, 52, who was nominated by chairman Huang Liping.
