Tencent Launches Final Hunyuan 3 Model With Free AI-Agent Feature

Tencent Holdings Ltd. officially launched the Hy3 version of its Hunyuan foundation model on Monday, delivering enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities focused on autonomous agent tasks.

The Shenzhen-based company immediately integrated the upgraded model into its consumer AI assistant, Yuanbao, and slashed developer usage fees.

The launch marks an upgrade from the preview version released in April, with improved post-training compute and higher-quality training data. Tencent said the new model has significantly strengthened autonomous-agent capabilities, achieving a 90% task-completion rate across several of the company’s internal applications.
