Listen to the full version

Cai Fuchao, a former top Chinese publicity official and media regulator who rose from a packaging factory floor to oversee the country’s press and broadcasting sectors, has been placed under investigation eight years after his retirement.

He is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
