More than half of clinical professionals in China now use artificial intelligence in their daily work, outpacing the global average, even as doctors worldwide grapple with skepticism over the technology’s reliability, according to a new report.
The findings, released by the scientific and medical information analytics company Elsevier at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, highlight a rapidly evolving health care landscape where AI adoption is becoming routine. While 49% of medical professionals globally integrate AI into their workflows, the figure climbs to 56% in China.
