Former Henan State Broadcaster Chief Investigated for Disciplinary Violations

Chinese authorities are investigating Wang Renhai, the former party secretary and president of Henan Radio and Television Station, over suspected serious violations of party discipline and law, the provincial anti-corruption agency said Friday.
Wang, who also formerly served as party secretary and chairman of Henan Broadcasting Media Holding Group, was removed from both leadership posts eight days before the investigation was announced.
