(Washington) — U.S. President Donald Trump signed two new executive orders Thursday aimed at restricting birthright citizenship for specific groups and cracking down on the birth tourism industry, reviving a central policy pledge just one month after the Supreme Court struck down his broader attempt to end the constitutional guarantee.

The directives, which currently lack detailed implementation guidelines, are widely expected to draw immediate legal challenges.
