Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with the U.S. ambassador to China on Wednesday, urging Washington to clear obstacles and manage differences to pave the way for upcoming high-level exchanges between the two global powers.

The talks in Beijing highlight ongoing efforts by both nations to stabilize a complex bilateral relationship following President Donald Trump’s visit to China in May.
