Jiangsu’s Top Personnel Official Investigated in Graft Probe

Liu Jianyang, a member of the Jiangsu provincial party standing committee and head of its Organization Department, is being investigated by the Communist Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, according to a statement published on Monday.
The investigation makes Liu the 48th centrally managed official announced as under investigation by the watchdog in 2026. He is also the fourth senior Jiangsu official to fall since the party’s 20th National Congress in late 2022.
