Singapore to Release Climate Adaptation Plan as Heat Risks Grow

Singapore is stepping up efforts to adapt to climate change as extreme weather poses growing risks to businesses and communities.

The government has designated 2026 as its Year of Climate Adaptation and will release the country's first climate adaptation plan next year, Senior Minister of State for Education and Sustainability and the Environment Janil Puthucheary announced Wednesday at the UN Global Compact Network Singapore Summit.
