A 35-year-old man was arrested after a knife attack in a bustling university commercial district in southern China on Monday evening, leaving an undisclosed number of people injured, local police said.
Authorities confirmed that none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries. The stabbing occurred at roughly 5:20 p.m. outside a hotpot restaurant in the GOGO Xintiandi shopping plaza, a popular hub in the Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center.
