Former China Construction Bank (Asia) Manager Jailed in Fraud Case

A former customer manager at China Construction Bank (Asia) Corp. Ltd. (CCB Asia) was sentenced to four years in prison by a Hong Kong court last week for conspiring to accept more than $470,000 in cryptocurrency bribes.
Lam Chun-yin, 32, pleaded guilty to conspiracy for an agent to accept advantages, Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) said. CCB Asia is a Hong Kong subsidiary of China Construction Bank Corp. (CCB), one of the country’s “Big Four” state-owned commercial banks.
