Tencent Integrates AI Agent WorkBuddy With Enterprise App

Tencent is linking its office AI agent with its corporate-messaging platform as China’s tech giants race to bring AI agents into the workplace.

The company said Tuesday that WorkBuddy, its main workplace AI agent, is being fully integrated with WeCom, Tencent’s enterprise-communications platform. The two products will share a single WeCom account system, while WorkBuddy will be able to draw on workplace context including messages, documents, meetings and cloud files with corporate authorization.
