Listen to the full version

Sany Renewable Energy Co. Ltd. plans to build a manufacturing plant in Egypt, expanding its localized production beyond Kazakhstan and India as the Chinese wind turbine maker’s overseas revenue rose 300% year-on-year in the first half of 2026.
The move reflects a broader push by Chinese wind equipment makers into emerging markets, where competitive pricing can help them win business without facing some of the commercial and regulatory barriers found in developed markets.
