Fuzzy Policy Fails to Deter Media Investors

(.com.cn) Taiwan's Eastern Home Shopping Network (EHS) has signed an agreement with the mainland's official China Central Television (CCTV) to create a partnership that taps the mainland's TV shopping market starting next year, according to Taiwanese media.

A formal announcement was expected September 28.

EHS is one of several overseas players eyeing China's media market. has learned that, in addition to EHS, CCTV has received cooperation invitations from industrial investment and venture capital funds based in South Korea and the United States.
