Weak Miners, Investor Caution Drag Shanghai Index Down

(.com.cn) Metal futures fell across the board on September 23 in Shanghai, dragging down mining shares, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slid 1.89 percent in weak turnover to 2,842.72 points.

Investors took a cautious stance amid the G-20 financial summit in Pittsburgh and ahead of the eight-day closure of the domestic market for the National Day holiday, which starts October 1.
