Vice Chairman of China Mobile Faces Probe

A short news brief posted on Xinhua News Agency's website said Zhang Chunjiang, vice chairman of China Mobile, China's largest telecom operator, is under party investigation. It remains unclear what Zhang has been accused of, but news reports have stated Zhang is under investigation for allegedly committing a "serious violation of regulations" and the central inspection arm of the Communist Party of China is conducting the probe.
