Gamesa Joins with Longyuan in Wind Farm Development

(Beijing) -- Gamesa said April 13 it will tie up with China Longyuan Power Group Corp. (HKEG: 0916), the world's third largest wind farm developer, to jointly develop 200 megawatts of wind farms in China by 2015.

In an online statement, the Spanish wind turbine manufacturer also said it signed memorandums each with Longyuan, China Resources Power Holdings Co. (HKEG:0836) and China Datang Corp. to supply a combined turbine capacity of 900 megawatts.
