State-Owned Assets Regulator to Probe Polish Highway Deal

(London) -- China's state-owned assets regulator, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, has dispatched an audit team to examine the cancelled Polish highway construction contract awarded to China Overseas Engineering Group Co., Ltd., (Covec), on possible underbidding.

The company's President Fang Yuanming has been removed from his post.
