Chinese Bank Enters Saab Rescue Talks

(Beijing) -- Saab's owner, Swedish Automobile, announced it is in negotiations with an unnamed Chinese bank and commercial vehicle maker Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile Co. over a new acquisition deal for Saab. 

In a statement on December 5, Swedish Automobile said, "The discussions include a short-term solution to enable Saab to pay November wages and continue reorganization."
