(Beijing) -- The British pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline Plc. (GSK) used travel agencies to pay bribes to a range of people while doing business in China, police officials said at a news conference on July 15.
Police say GSK's China operation made large illegal payments to government officials, medical associations, hospitals and doctors in order to expand its market share in the country and boost the prices of its medicines.
