Vote of Confidence

(Hong Kong) -- Recent struggles have raised concerns that the luster is coming off emerging markets. Since the beginning of the year, the MSCI Emerging Markets Index has declined more than 11 percent.

European and American investors, who once flocked to emerging markets due to quantitative easing in the United States and the rapid growth of emerging market economies like China, now seem to lack confidence.
