Shifting Global Fortunes

Most investors, particularly those who live in developed markets, probably aren't aware of the influence emerging markets have on the global economy. I'm not just talking about China. More and more large corporations are headquartered in emerging markets, a trend that I expect to continue. In addition, more of those companies that are located in emerging markets are also joining the ranks of the top companies in the world. In fact, some might be surprised to hear that some of the world's largest initial public offerings (IPOs) have been in emerging markets.
