Another Hebei Official Is Targeted by Corruption Investigators

(Beijing) – An official overseeing government appointments in Hebei has been placed under investigation for graft, the Communist Party's corruption buster said on November 20, as a scandal in the northern province widens.

The Central Discipline Inspection Commission (CDIC) said in a statement that Liang Bin, a member of the party's standing committee in Hebei and the head of the provincial organization department, is suspected of "serious violations of discipline and law," a phrase the CDIC uses to mean corruption.
