Party Finds China Shipping Group Executives Helped Relatives, Own Firms Win Business

(Beijing) – Executives of one of the country's major shippers were found to be using their positions to help relatives and other companies to profit from business with the state-owned firm, the leader of a Communist Party inspection team says in a report.

Some executives at China Shipping Group helped their own private companies or firms operated by their relatives contract with China Shipping to transport goods at very low prices, Tong Yancheng, an anti-graft official, wrote in a report published on the website of the party's graft buster, the Central Discipline Inspection Commission (CDIC).
