Beijing, Hebei to Cooperate on Opening Three National Parks

(Beijing) – The capital is working with the government of neighboring Hebei Province to open three national parks along the border area they share, a forestry official says, as part of efforts to better integrate Beijing and its surrounding areas.

One of the parks will be in the Wuling Mountains in Beijing's northeast and the others will be in the Baihua and Haituo mountains to the west, a spokesman for the capital's forestry bureau said.
