Online Movie Ticket Sellers Weiying, Gewara Merge

(Beijing) – Two companies that sell movie tickets through online platforms have decided to merge.

Beijing Weiying Technology Co. Ltd. said in a December 17 statement that its merger with Shanghai-based Gewara.com was designed to help the companies share resources.

No changes to management staff or organizational structures were expected at either company, which will continue to do business separately, the statement said.
