(Beijing) – About 150 resident doctors in the southern city of Shenzhen protested in front of the city government's offices on January 28 to demand they be paid a training subsidy the central government offers.

The junior doctors wore white coats and displayed banners asking local officials to explain what they are doing with a 30,000 yuan annual subsidy the central government has set aside for each training physician in China.
