Vancouver police have responded to a reported break-in at a home believed to be owned by the husband of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou, Canadian news outlet Global News reported.
Meng is currently being held by Canadian police at the request of the U.S., which has accused her of fraud in connection with a bid to sell American goods to Iran.
Meng and her husband reportedly own two multimillion-dollar properties in wealthy neighborhoods of Vancouver.
Police received a 911 call about a home being broken into around 5:30 a.m. local time, Global News said.
“Police said the suspects were confronted by someone in the home and fled,” it reported.
