A person with a knife attacked and injured at least 11 people, including children, in east China's Jiangxi province Thursday morning, according to local police.

The incident took place in Jiangxi’s Ji'an city, but it was unclear where in the city exactly.

A 33-year-old suspect has been detained, CGTN reported.
