China-U.S. Audit Regulation Talks Are Proceeding Smoothly, Securities Regulator Says

Recent China-U.S. talks on audit regulation cooperation have been progressing smoothly and both sides will continue talking to work toward a solution, China’s top securities regulator said Thursday.

“The Chinese side and the U.S. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) have had several rounds of candid, professional and efficient talks, and overall progress has been smooth,” the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) said in a Q&A posted on its website.
