Bilibili slashes jobs

The wave of job losses in China’s tech sector has reached Bilibili Inc., as the video streaming company begins to fire workers in the gaming, livestreaming and commercialization divisions.

One fired livestreaming unit employee told Caixin he was told the company is adjusting its business. Two more said their units were cut by 20%, while the core business at Bilibili’s main website has experienced fewer cuts.
