Party Central Committee Completes Reshuffle Ahead of National Congress

Three alternate members have been admitted as full members to the Communist Party’s top leadership body during a plenary session Wednesday, according to the official communique released after the meeting, in the latest political personnel change days before the 20th National Party Congress.
Former party chief of Wuhan Ma Guoqiang, party secretary of Southwest China’s Yunnan province Wang Ning and governor of southern province of Guangdong Wang Weizhong, who ranked first, second and fourth on the around 170-strong alternate membership list, were granted full voting rights on the party’s Central Committee.
