Caixin Summit: Energy Expert Pours Cold Water on Hydrogen Hopes

Chinese policymakers should think twice about rolling out hydrogen fuel anywhere that electrification is a viable alternative, energy expert Zhou Dadi said at the 13th Caixin Summit on Thursday.

The comments come as Beijing rolls out generous policy support for the development of hydrogen infrastructure for things like fuel cell vehicles, as part of a broader decarbonization plan.
