United Airlines Delays Adding China-U.S. Services Under Pandemic Era Cap

United Airlines Holdings Inc. is holding back on plans to add more direct flights between China and the United States because of flight limits imposed by the two governments during the pandemic, the American airline told Caixin.

"The flights between the United States and the Chinese mainland continue to be subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Transportation, which has limited the number of flights between the two countries,” the Chicago-based company said.
