Hengli Expands Revival of Dalian Shipyard With Samsung Order

What’s new: Hengli Heavy Industry began building parts for a large containership project of South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) in another sign of revival at a Dalian shipyard Hengli acquired last year.

Hengli is building blocks for several containerships ordered by Taiwan shipping company Evergreen Marine Corp. from SHI, according to Hengli. The deal marks Hengli’s entry into the large containership market.
