Chemical Giant BASF Expands Shanghai R&D Base in China Push

BASF SE has kicked off the expansion of its research and development (R&D) center in China, as the German chemical giant aims to strengthen its footprint in its second-largest market.

The company has added two new R&D buildings to its Innovation Campus Shanghai, which will include facilities for advanced chemical research, according to a company statement released last Wednesday.
