A property valued at almost $4 million in the heart of Beijing and coming up for auction at the end of the month was previously owned by the disgraced former justice minister Fu Zhenghua, Caixin has learned.

Situated within the East Second Ring Road, the now vacant four-bedroom property covers a floor area of 236 square meters including an attic, according to an announcement of the judicial auction hosted by the online retail platform JD.com.
