What’s new: Li Pengxin, former deputy secretary of the Communist Party of the Xinjiang autonomous region of western China, is under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation on suspicion of serious violations of law, the Communist Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said Monday.
