U.S. Secretary of State to Make Second China Trip in Less Than a Year

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit China from Wednesday to Friday at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, the foreign ministry announced without elaboration Monday.
It will mark the top American diplomat’s second trip to China in less than a year.
Blinken will meet with senior Chinese officials in Shanghai and Beijing to discuss a range of topics, including “the crisis in the Middle East, Russia’s war against Ukraine, cross-Strait issues, and the South China Sea,” the U.S. State Department said in a Friday statement .
