Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. on Thursday announced a restructuring of its core e-commerce operations, consolidating domestic and international platforms including Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and Goofish into the newly formed Alibaba E-commerce Group. Jiang Fan was named to lead the unit.
Jiang, previously co-chairman and CEO of Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group, will report to Alibaba CEO Wu Yongming.
