Former Bank of China Executive Expelled in Graft Case

A former provincial branch head at Bank of China Ltd. (BOC) (601988.SH) has been expelled from the Communist Party and public office and referred for criminal prosecution on suspicion of bribery and embezzlement, China’s top anti-corruption watchdog said.
The watchdog said Jia Tianbing secured benefits for others in matters including credit approvals and business deals in exchange for huge bribes.
