Veteran Hong Kong filmmaker Raymond Wong Pak-ming has been sentenced to five months in prison for insider trading.
He was also fined about HK$99,000 ($14,617) and ordered to pay HK$370,000 in investigation and legal costs to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
Wong, 80, was sentenced on June 9 at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts after being convicted last month. He was granted HK$200,000 bail pending appeal.
