China Removes Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli From Top Military Posts

China’s top legislature on Friday removed two senior military commanders from their state defense posts, months after they came under investigation as part of a broader anti-graft campaign in the armed forces.
The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress dismissed Zhang Youxia as vice chairman of the Central Military Commission and Liu Zhenli as a commission member, according to state media. It also removed both men as deputies to the National People’s Congress, along with two other former senior officers, Zhong Shaojun and Ju Qiansheng.
