(Washington) — U.S. President Donald Trump said he would be willing to meet with Chinese and Russian leaders at a proposed three-way summit during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Shenzhen next month, potentially opening a new diplomatic channel for discussions on the war in Ukraine.
Trump said he had only just heard about the proposal and understood that any meeting would take place in China.
