An Unshakable Confidence in Apple

We landed at San Francisco airport two hours after Steve Jobs resigned as the leader of Apple. Most people on the plane had the news. It flashed over the TV monitors onboard. In the airport, the ads lining the walls were for companies like Oracle, Juniper and SAP. Apple doesn't have to advertise here. Everyone knows it as the dominant player in the region, with its headquarters just 50 miles down the road in Cupertino, California.
