Executive Who Fled to Singapore amid Rail Scandal Returns to China

(Beijing) – The former boss of a Shenzhen-listed company who fled to Singapore amid an investigation into whether he paid bribes to an ex-railroad official has returned to China in a bid to get lighter punishment.
Xu Yusuo was in the custody of railroad prosecutors in Zhengzhou, in the central province of Henan, after returning from Singapore on November 27, the country's top prosecutor's office said. China's huge railroad system has its own police, courts and prosecutors.
